As a provider of services you will be aware that the way services are commissioned are changing.  The move towards personalised budgets and self directed support is gaining momentum all the time.  We believe that this is an extremely positive force for individuals who require support services.  This also means that as a provider you will need to make your services known to both the end user themselves and those who work on their behalf.  This site brings together providers, service users and those working both with and for them.  To read more about how you can directly reach those who need your services please follow this link to the providers pages.

Many individuals who have some support or care needs prefer to recruit a personal assistant to employ directly.  Some times this is done via a third party organisation but often the individual will recruit an assistant directly.  This may be done with or without the help of a family member, social worker or support broker, but ultimately, the personal assistant will work directly for that individual.
